Terms of Use
Effective date: 26 October 2026
1. Introduction and Acceptance
1.1These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the ReelCubby extension for Google Chrome (the “Extension”), the website located at reelcubby.com (the “Website”) and any related services (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by AppsJet Solutions (“AppsJet”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
1.2By installing, accessing or using the Service, or by purchasing a Licence, you agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Refund Policy, each of which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not install, access or use the Service.
1.3You must be at least 13 years of age, or the minimum age required to use Instagram in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher, and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
2. Definitions
In these Terms:
- “Instagram” means the Instagram service operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and its affiliates (together, “Meta”);
- “Licence” means the licence to use the Extension granted under clause 5;
- “Licence Key” means the unique key issued to you upon purchase of a Licence;
- “Trial Period” means the free trial period described in clause 4;
- “Third-Party Services” means any product or service not operated by us, including Instagram, Google Chrome, the Chrome Web Store, Hugging Face and Dodo Payments; and
- “Your Library” means the information relating to your saved Instagram posts that the Extension stores locally on your device.
3. Description of the Service
3.1The Extension enables you to organise, categorise, search and view posts that you have saved to your own Instagram account. It operates locally on your device, using the authenticated Instagram session that already exists in your browser.
3.2The Service is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by or approved by Instagram or Meta. “Instagram” is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc. and is referred to solely to describe the Service's compatibility.
3.3Your Library is processed and stored on your device. We do not receive, store or have access to it. Further information is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Free Trial
4.1The Extension may be used free of charge for a Trial Period of seven (7) days, beginning on the date on which the Extension first completes the categorisation of your saved posts.
4.2On expiry of the Trial Period, access to the features of the Extension will be restricted until you purchase a Licence. Your Library will remain stored on your device.
4.3We may modify, suspend or withdraw the Trial Period for new users at any time. You must not attempt to extend, reset or otherwise circumvent the Trial Period.
5. Purchase and Licence
5.1Grant of licence. Subject to your payment of the applicable fee and your continued compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable and revocable licence to install and use the version of the Extension available at the time of your purchase, on no more than three (3) devices at any one time, solely for your personal and non-commercial purposes.
5.2Nature of the purchase. The fee is a one-time payment for the Licence and is not a subscription. The fee does not entitle you to, and we make no commitment to provide:
- any future versions, updates, upgrades or new features of the Extension;
- technical support, maintenance or assistance of any kind; or
- the availability, operation or functionality of the Service for any minimum period of time.
Any updates or support that we elect to provide are provided at our sole discretion, may be withdrawn at any time and do not create any continuing obligation.
5.3Payment. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which acts as the merchant of record for your purchase. Your payment is also subject to Dodo Payments' terms and policies. Prices may vary by country, and applicable taxes will be shown at checkout. We may change our prices at any time; any change will not affect a purchase that has already been completed.
5.4Licence Keys. Your Licence Key is personal and confidential. You must not share, sell, transfer or publish it. We may deactivate a Licence Key, without notice or refund, if:
- the corresponding payment is refunded, reversed or charged back;
- the Licence Key is shared or used on more devices than permitted; or
- we reasonably believe that it was obtained fraudulently or has been used in breach of these Terms.
5.5Reservation of rights. The Extension is licensed, not sold. All rights, title and interest in and to the Service, including all intellectual property rights, remain with us and our licensors. No rights are granted to you other than those expressly set out in these Terms.
6. Dependence on Third-Party Services
6.1The operation of the Service depends on Third-Party Services, including Instagram, over which we have no control. The Extension retrieves your saved posts from Instagram in the same manner as Instagram's own website. Instagram may change the way it provides that information at any time and without notice.
6.2You acknowledge and agree that Instagram, Meta or the provider of any other Third-Party Service may at any time, and without notice to you or us, modify, restrict, suspend or block functionality on which the Service relies. As a result, the Service may cease to function, in whole or in part, temporarily or permanently.
6.3We are under no obligation to repair, restore, adapt or maintain the Service following any such event. No such event constitutes a breach of these Terms by us, and no such event entitles you to a refund, compensation or any other remedy, except as expressly provided in our Refund Policy.
6.4Your use of any Third-Party Service is governed by that provider's own terms and policies, for which we are not responsible.
7. Your Instagram Account
7.1You are solely responsible for your Instagram account, including the security of your credentials and your compliance with Instagram's terms of use and policies.
7.2You acknowledge that Instagram may limit, challenge, suspend or disable accounts that it believes are being used with third-party tools. You use the Service at your own risk. We are not responsible or liable for any action taken by Instagram or Meta in relation to your account, including any loss of access to your account or its content.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not, and must not permit any other person to:
- use the Service in connection with any Instagram account other than your own;
- use the Service to copy, download, reproduce, republish, distribute or commercially exploit content belonging to others;
- use the Service to collect, harvest or compile information about other persons;
- circumvent, disable or interfere with the Trial Period, the verification of Licence Keys or any other technical limitation of the Service;
- copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Service, except to the extent that applicable law expressly permits such activity notwithstanding this restriction;
- sell, resell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute the Service or any Licence Key; or
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of the terms of any Third-Party Service.
9. Third-Party Content
Posts displayed through the Service are owned by their respective creators and rights holders. The Service does not grant you any right in such content. Media is displayed from Instagram's servers and is not copied by the Service for redistribution. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of such content complies with applicable law, including intellectual property law.
10. Open-Source Components
The Extension includes software components that are licensed under open-source licences. Those components are listed, together with their licences, in the Extension's credits, and those licences govern your use of the relevant components.
11. Modification, Suspension and Termination
11.1We may, at any time and for any reason, with or without notice, modify, suspend or discontinue the Service or any part of it, or withdraw the Extension from distribution. This includes action taken in response to a request from a platform provider or rights holder, or to a legal or regulatory requirement.
11.2Any refund in the circumstances described in clause 11.1 is governed exclusively by our Refund Policy.
11.3You may stop using the Service at any time by removing the Extension from your browser.
11.4We may terminate your Licence and deactivate your Licence Key, without refund, if you breach these Terms. On termination of your Licence for any reason, you must cease all use of the Extension.
11.5Clauses 5.5, 6, 7, 9 and 12 to 18 survive the termination of these Terms or of your Licence.
12. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, SATISFACTORY QUALITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE OR SECURE, THAT IT WILL REMAIN COMPATIBLE WITH INSTAGRAM OR ANY OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICE, OR THAT ANY CATEGORISATION OR SEARCH RESULT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.
13. Limitation of Liability
13.1TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL OR ACCESS TO ANY ACCOUNT, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS, HOWEVER CAUSED AND WHETHER OR NOT WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
13.2WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY ACT OR OMISSION OF INSTAGRAM, META OR THE PROVIDER OF ANY OTHER THIRD-PARTY SERVICE.
13.3TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT ACTUALLY PAID BY YOU FOR YOUR LICENCE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
14. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from and against any claim, liability, loss, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service or your breach of the terms of any Third-Party Service.
15. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any right or remedy that you may have under applicable law and that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including rights under consumer protection legislation. Where any provision of these Terms is inconsistent with such a right, that right prevails to the extent of the inconsistency.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The amended Terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any amendment constitutes your acceptance of the amended Terms. Amendments will not apply retrospectively to purchases completed before their effective date, except where required by law.
17. General
17.1Entire agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service and supersede any prior understanding.
17.2Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17.3No waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17.4Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms, including in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
17.5Force majeure. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including the acts or omissions of any Third-Party Service.
17.6Informal resolution. Before commencing any legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at the address set out in clause 18 and to allow a period of thirty (30) days for the matter to be resolved informally.
17.7Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to clause 15, the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any such dispute or claim. If you are a consumer resident outside India, this clause does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory provision of the law of your country of residence, or of any right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country.
